Careers, Job Opportunities and Career Changes
Are you living your passion?
Do you feel satisfied and fulfilled with the choices you have made throughout your life and career?

If you are like many Americans, the answer is no. According to a survey conducted by Harris Interactive
for Age Wave and the Concours Group, only 45 percent of American workers say they are satisfied or
extremely satisfied with their jobs.

Only 20 percent feel passionate about their jobs.
"I like what I do. I just don’t like where I work." Sound familiar?  Whether you feel like you’re living in
paradise or lurking among wild animals, knowing how you feel about your current job should give you
insight into what you are seeking in future endeavors. If you know what your priorities and preferences are
and actively seek them, work can be an enjoyable experience.

Are you wondering which career direction is right for you? Whether you're a college student preparing for
graduation or a professional unsure about a midlife change, deciding upon a career or career change
can be difficult. You must know something about yourself, the world of work and how to find occupations
that are suitable for you.  Contacts, mentors, former employers and coworkers can all be of help.
And don't forget about the online job searches that are available from companies like Yahoo Jobs, Monster.com
and Careerbuilder.com.
