Both stores and Menards and WalMart, have an unwritten, “if asked” policy.  They generally won’t offer it unless asked and its not promoted in any signage or commercials. Ask to speak with the manager, and have your military ID with you. And it must be a valid Government issued ID. Sometimes even the managers can get confused, which is understandable if they never served.

Thanks to all the military men and women who have served this country! You commitment and service to the United States will not be forgotten.
